Meet Susan Dillabough
Susan Dillabough brings warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt care to every ceremony she officiates. After a rewarding 36-year career as a teacher and Vice Principal, Susan recently retired and is excited to begin a new chapter helping couples celebrate one of life’s most meaningful milestones.
Susan creates ceremonies that feel genuine, personal, and memorable. Her calm presence, exceptional organizational skills, and compassionate nature help couples feel supported and at ease throughout the entire process.
Weddings and special events have long been part of her life both personally and professionally. Susan and her husband were married in 2022, and both of her daughters were married in 2023, experiences that deepened her appreciation for the joy and significance of a wedding day. She has also helped organize several weddings held at Blue Grass Garden Centre and has spent years planning meaningful events for schools, staff, students, and communities.
Susan believes every couple has a unique love story worth celebrating. Whether you are planning an intimate ceremony or a larger celebration, she is committed to creating a heartfelt experience that reflects your personalities, values, and vision for your special day.
When she is not officiating weddings, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, children, stepchildren, and her cherished grandchildren! She also loves hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, and travelling whenever she gets the chance.
Known for her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine love for people, Susan considers it an honour to help couples begin their married life together surrounded by love, family, and lasting memories.
