Based in Red Deer, Alberta, Garth brings warmth, authenticity, and a genuine heart for people to every ceremony he leads. With years of experience speaking in front of crowds, facilitating training and workshops, making public announcements, and serving as an emcee, Garth is comfortable taking the microphone—but more importantly, he understands how to make people feel comfortable when he does.

Garth believes a wedding ceremony should be more than simply a moment to say “I do.” It should be a meaningful reflection of the couple, their story, and the life they are choosing to build together. His approach is personal, grounded, and encouraging, creating a ceremony that feels authentic to the people standing in front of him.

With a background in mentoring, faith-minded leadership, and walking alongside people through significant life transitions, Garth brings a thoughtful perspective to one of life’s biggest milestones. His heart is to serve each couple well, honour their unique story, and help them begin their marriage with intention, encouragement, and plenty of joy.

Outside of officiating, Garth enjoys fly fishing, riding his motorcycle and dirt bike, and simply continuing to learn and grow. He is a proud family man with children, grandchildren, and a growing family that brings him plenty of reasons to celebrate.
