Hello, I'm Mariia — a passionate traveler, language lover, and someone who sees every love story as a unique adventure worth celebrating. My journey has taken me across continents and cultures, sparking my love for foreign languages, human connection, and the beautiful diversity of life. I speak five languages — English, Ukrainian, French, Italian, and Spanish — and consider them more than just words. To me, they’re bridges to the heart, helping people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

Alongside officiating weddings, I also work as an English and French instructor for immigrants. While travelling abroad, I had the opportunity to act as a hostess in Italy and a waitress at weddings in France. These experiences taught me how to listen deeply, connect warmly, and create spaces where people feel genuinely welcomed. Those who know me often say they feel my openness and people-centered spirit — qualities I bring into every ceremony I lead.

Though I’m new to officiating, I don’t see that as a limitation — I see it as an opportunity to bring fresh energy, curiosity, and sincere care to each wedding. I don’t just conduct ceremonies; I craft meaningful, personal moments that reflect your story and your truth. Your love isn’t generic, and your wedding shouldn’t be either.

 

Beyond officiating, I find joy in the arts — from drawing and embroidery to dancing, cooking, and filming videos that aim to feel something. I used to write poetry as a way of expressing my inner world, and while that poet may be quieter now, she still lives in me, especially when I help couples put their love into words. Recently, I’ve also become fascinated by the creative potential of AI content — yet at the heart of all my interests is a desire to connect and create meaning.

I carry my own love story, too. I immigrated to Canada not long ago, and unexpectedly — and beautifully — met my partner. That experience opened my heart to the kind of love that crosses borders, defies plans, and changes everything.
